Turkmenbashi International Airport

Turkmenbashi International Airport, opened in April 2010 as part of the construction program of the Avaza National Tourist Zone, is a modern air terminal complex capable of handling up to 800 passengers per hour. It includes a four-story passenger terminal as well as a new cargo terminal equipped with an advanced automated cargo handling system.

The main features of the airport include a new runway 2,500 meters long and 80 meters wide, providing the ability to accommodate aircraft of all types. An important element of the airport's infrastructure is also the control tower, equipped with advanced equipment from Siemens and Thales to ensure the safety and efficiency of air traffic.

To ensure a comfortable stay for passengers, the airport has a variety of services, including local and international airline ticket offices, modern information boards, telescopic gangways, as well as international and long-distance communication points. For the convenience of passengers, there are also storage rooms and postal services.
