In the vicinity of the village of Langar, buried in the mighty mountains of Tajikistan, more than 6,000 petroglyphs are hidden, witnesses of ancient times and mute testimonies of a unique culture. Carved on rocky ridges at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, these images are a remarkable monument of ancient history, which strikes the imagination with its mystery and beauty.

In the drawings of petroglyphs, as if revived from the past era, there are mountain goats, deer, hunters with bows and horsemen, imprinted in the stone centuries ago. Scenes of ibex hunting are intertwined with images of musical instruments, as if giving voice to ancient times.

The first group of petroglyphs, located just 600 meters north of the school, is a unique artifact of ancient culture. Carved on sun-darkened granite, these drawings are like living fairy tales, revealing to us the secrets of the past and the sound of ancient melodies.

Langar petroglyphs are not only a unique archaeological complex, but also a kind of window into the world of ancient culture of Central Asia. They remind us that the wisdom and art of our ancestors do not only live in books and museums, but also on the rocks, where they can be seen by all those who sincerely seek to understand the past and respect its heritage.
