BagmatiNepal • 1309 m

King Pratap Molla, the great ruler of Nepal in the 17th century, has left his mark on history not only through his reigns but also through the magnificent structures he erected for the glory of his country and faith. One such great project is the Shrinathdev Mandir, a temple erected on the banks of the Bagmati River.

This temple, towering in the forest northwest of the airport and just 400 meters east of Pashupatinath, has become a symbol of Nepal's greatness and spirituality. Rising above the natural surroundings, it attracts the eye with its exquisite design and architecture, recalling the times of great rulers and their contribution to the country.

The Shrinathdev temple is dedicated to the god Shrinath, who embodies strength and wisdom. Inside the temple, under its protection, worshippers find peace and inspiration as they encounter the ancient wisdom and richness of Hindu traditions.

Built by King Pratap Molloy, this temple has become not only a place of worship but also a symbol of Nepal's national pride and cultural heritage. Every year it attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists who want to experience the spirit of antiquity and grandeur of this amazing place.
