Kathmandu is not just the capital of Nepal, it is a living legend, an embodiment of the country's richness and cultural heritage. Situated at an altitude of 1300-1340 meters above sea level in a wide valley surrounded by mighty mountains, this two-thousand-year-old city surprises with its rich historical and cultural attractions.

Buddhist and Hindu temples spread across Kathmandu bear witness to the grandeur and spirituality of the place. Among them, the ancient monasteries and sanctuaries stand out in particular, where every wall, every step is imbued with history and spiritual energy.

Apart from its own richness, Kathmandu also includes several small neighboring cities that were former royal capitals such as Bakhtapur, Kirtipur, Lalitpur and Kantipur. These neighboring cities add to the grandeur and beauty of this amazing corner of Nepal.

Kathmandu is a bustling city by day and night where every corner is filled with energy and life. Most of the tourists arrive here by airplane, marking this city as the departure and arrival point of their trip. There is so much to see and do in Kathmandu that it could be the theme of a single trip - every day here is filled with encounters with history, culture and adventures that will be remembered for a lifetime.
