Transfer to Kashgar and passing the Sino-Kyrgyz border

Road to Kashgar via the Torugart border post (3752 m). The road turns around the At-Bashi range till the first pass, Ak-Beit (3282m.) which opens the panorama on the peak Beytii-Djilga (4272m.). Just before to cross the Tuzbel pass (3575m.), we have a first border control, then the view opens on the endorheic lake Chatyr-Kel, part of the Karatal-Japyryk natural reserve. The lake is about 23 km long by 10 km wide. In the winter, temperature are very low (-22°C average in January), and in Summer, it's become and oasis for many mirgrator birds. The lake is a Ramsar site. The road continues to turn, along the shore of the lake till the main Kyrgyz customs. After customs formalities, we drive up to the Torugart pass, 7km on a steep road. Our car stop there, and you will meet our Chinese team. The landscape constrat is important, and we drive down the Torugart valley till Kashgar. Installation in hotel.
