The Yangikala Canyon is one of Turkmenistan's most impressive natural wonders. Located in the northwest of Turkmenistan, east of the city of Turkmenbashi on the road connecting it to Dashoguz, this spectacular canyon is famous for its brightly colored and contrasting rock formations. The shades of red, orange, white, and yellow create a breathtaking landscape that seems almost unreal.

The name "Yangikala" translates literally to "fire wall," which perfectly evokes the fiery and vibrant hues of the rocks that make up this canyon. The unique geology of the region, formed over millions of years by wind and water erosion, has given rise to steep cliffs and stunning rock formations, creating a truly magical setting.

In addition to its stunning natural beauty, the Yangikala Canyon, formed by the rocks of the Griad Akkyr plateau, also offers opportunities for adventure and exploration in the Kemal basin. Visitors can hike along scenic trails, climb cliffs to enjoy breathtaking views, or simply relax and admire the sunrise or sunset.
