Kara-Kudzhur valley

Kalmak-Ashuu Pass is located on the shortest access between Kochkor and Song Kul Lake. The pass is opened by a snow-blower at the end of May.

To the south of the Djaman-Too mountain chain, is the upper valley of Arpa, which stretches for about sixty kilometers, and up to 25km in width.

The Sary-Bulak Valley, officially known as the Kara-Kujur Valley, is one of the pearls of the southern region of Kyrgyzstan.

Sary Kamysh pastures lie on the border of Jalal Abad and Naryn oblast. The region is sparsely inhabited and road access is very difficult.
