Climato-balneo-mud sanatorium "Jyrgalan" is located at the mouth of the river Jyrgalan, 10 km northeast of Karakol, and 390 km from Bishkek, in Tyup district of Issyk-Kul region. About 40 years ago geologists discovered here deep fountaining hot waters with therapeutic properties, where the sanatorium "Jyrgalan" was founded. 
The sanatorium "Jyrgalan" is part of the association "Kyrgyz Sovietcourt".
