Sauna has a long
history, going back at least several thousands years,
maybe more.
Ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans enjoyed the wonder-working sweat.
In the Slavic culture sauna has always played an important role - it is
not only a washing room, but a special club, where friends can gather
and have a heart-to-heart talk. The positive effect of sweat on human
physical and emotional state has been noticed and scientifically proved
long time ago. The heat urges every organ of the body into action, it
stimulates the heart, and the blood circulates faster. Sweat has the
function of being a judicious garbage collector; it draws out toxic
metals and substances. Sauna is also famous for its rejuvenating effect.
There are a variety of different sauna types in the world: Russian banya,
Finnish sauna, Turkish hamam steam bath. Each culture has its own
version of the sweat bath, but there is one thing that they have in
common - after visiting sauna you will feel renewed physically and
emotionally. In Bishkek there are a lot of saunas, offering different
services - everything from sweat bath to aroma massage. One can choose
something according to his taste and preferences. |
